Before I continue with my story….. I just want to acknowledge a couple of people who between them have kick started my readership and taken my blog to a much wider audience than I believed possible in my first week. And for this I am grateful.
Tim Brownson
Tim has a website, ‘A Daring Adventure’ where he showcases his business as a Professional Life Coach. Tim’s blog, subtitled ‘The Discomfort Zone’ is where I first came to sample the quality advice he has to offer. The blog is written with a serious message in mind but Tim brings it alive and makes it meaningful with his very entertaining sense of humour.
Tim has very graciously included me as one of the ‘Friends Of The Discomfort Zone’, a gesture that took me totally by surprise, but none-the-less one which is greatly appreciated.
Let me also mention that Tim is a published author whose book, ‘Don’t Ask Stupid Questions: There Are No Stupid Questions’ currently adorns my bookshelf. I recommend this book to you if you want to get straight to work making beneficial changes to you life. Tim doesn’t mess about, he tells it like it is. For what it’s worth, I’m not on a commission, the sentiment is genuine.
Thank you Tim.
And in the finest traditions of ‘Age Before Beauty’……
Tara Cain

Tara (now to be found at Sticky Fingers) is a friendly and fun Mum (and so much more (although I haven’t been able to find out what yet!)) whose blog, ‘From Dawn Till Rusk’ is an entertaining and compelling read particularly for those of us with young children.
I’ve only recently discovered Tara’s blog and was delighted to be welcomed without hesitation by Tara and her bloggy ladies.
Indeed, Tara takes the honour of being the first person to post a comment on my blog, and even better, has seen fit to bestow upon me a fine tribute in the form of the ‘I Heart Your Blog’ award.
Now I don’t know if Tara’s got anything to sell, but if she does, I’ll be buying it.
Thank you Tara.
There’s more…
I can’t sign off before I get to 500 words [designed to annoy Tara]
