I was going to say once a week with four children is doing well...for, ahem, shaving.
My husband gets so angry when his beard grows, because of the itch.
Actually, only last night he was complaining that his itch doesn't get scratched often enough...
;o)

Jannie, I was looking for you on Twitter today. I didn't find you. To be honest though, I have no real idea who I've already follwed, so I could just be being a tool.

If steel wool is too abrasive, try some wet'n'dry. It'll still remove several layers of skin but you don't draw blood nearly so quickly. :D

You're right! Steel wool on the butt cheeks does not feel that good. Mabye it's time I give it up for good.

Me and shaving? I'll never tell!

TurfDad,
So how many miles have you done on your new BTF plan? On second thoughts, don’t answer that!! You’re a bad man. :)

GreenJello,
It’s the same for my wife. She doesn’t like kissing face fuzz.
Fortunately I can just about get by with daily shaving. I had no option at work so I just had to put up with the odd rash. I just tend to look unkempt with stubble. Some guys look great but I look like a hobo. :D

My hubby looks good in a beard, but it IS itchy for *me*. But I'd rather have the itchy than have him suffer from constant skin irritation. My caveat is that he keep it short.

I shave every day, just in case, if you know what I mean. :) Oh yeah, did I mention rumpy-pumpy was part of my BTF plan? My wife understands she is doing it for my health.

Tara,
“he doesn’t have to do the make up and hair routine”
That has to come as something of a relief? :D

Tim,
No shaving. No rumpy-pumpy.
No beard.

Yes it’s me. Do you like my thighs? And my wig?

Mike,
LMAO about the Santa comments. Go shaggy!!

notSupermum,
I could try the opaque tights to avoid shaving but people might think I’ve become a bank robber.

And if it weren’t for the itchy face I’d shave only once a month. ;)

GreenJello,
I had a beard once. My wife didn’t like it. I’ve never had one since. :(

Tricia,
Happy New Year Tricia!
I laughed as I wrote this so I’m glad you laughed reading it. :)

Patricia,
This is great. I’ve been able to laugh at this post two days in a row now. I read this before I went to bed last night, but saved my responses for this morning.

This phrase is totally lost on me though - ” English Gentlemen only put their umbrellas in their arm pits.” – I’ve never heard that one before.

Panther,
LMAO  I sincerely hope the Lion doesn’t suffer shaving rash.

Once a week is how often I shave. Once a month is how often I’d need to shave if I didn’t get face itch.

Rumpy pumpy - LOL. That didn't even sink in until I read NotSuperMom's comment. Never heard it called that. And once a week? Oh, that's right. Kids still in the house.

Let's just say the Lion shaves way more than once per week *wink*

Oh this is too funny! I come from a family of men who have to shave their faces at least 2 times a day - I passed this gene on to one of my daughters and just the beautiful black hair on to the other two....

My Father used to say," English Gentlemen only put their umbrellas in their arm pits."This is a pretty out there thing to talk about...chin first

I am getting old now so I only shave when I go swimming, which is 6 days a week, but never 2 times a day

Good way to start the day - a big out loud laugh.
Love the picture

My hubby has very sensitive skin, too. So he just keeps a very short beard. It's much easier to use a beard trimmer than a razor on owie skin!

You shave when you thing there's chance of some rumpy pumpy eh? I've been single for 6 years now, and with the judicious use of opaque tights, long boots and trousers I can avoid shaving my legs for 8 months of the year! The hair gives me an extra layer of insulation too :-) Lazy? Moi?

I think it's time to go shaggy, again. At least it's after Christmas and I won't get too many Santa comments.

A beard is the way to go, especially if you can find someone who won't let you shave it off! Btw, is that you, Dave, in the bath?

My husband is like the human version of Homer Simpson (minus the belly - he made me write that bit). He shaves and within hours there is a shadow growing back.
He HATES shaving with a passion and, as he works full time, it's an every morning job.
Still, he doesn't have to do the make up and hair routine, so it's all swings and roundabouts.
