sevenI got tagged in December 08 by Mom/Mumand being the clearly efficient sort that I am, I’m responding in February!

Picture: flattop341

I’ve decided to add a twist to this and rather than tag someone else, I’ve basically emptied my feed reader into it.

I leave you with an open invitation to respond, if you feel so inclined.

Mom/Mum hit with the 7s, so straight to business…

Although it’s a bit of fun some may not like the associations or the links might not work, and if either of those is the case I’ll happilmake changes. Email: contact (at) teachmychildrenwell (dot) com

Mom/Mum, I know I owe you a more recent tag – and just so you know, I’ll be replying to that in July!!

Thanks Mom/Mum

Thanks All – I hope you enjoyed this old nonsense. :D

This was funny. Thanks for the link. :)

I can’t remember for sure, but I think at the age of 7 I wanted to be a teacher.

Professional football player? I would never have looked for my link there. (Thanks for the link! ;)

The closest I ever came to anything like that was a drunk game of soccer on the British submarine base at Faslane, Scotland in the 1970s.

Brokeback Mountain.
Soldier.
Ha, frakkin’ ha.
I would say that I’m surprised that you think of me in such macho and homoerotic ways, but given the subtle innuendo you’ve been leaving me on my voice mails, well, I’m not.

And melons? LOL, Tara is going to kill you with your own tool!

I was going to wait unitl June to reply to this post, but I thought that is just petty and shallow and not how bloggers should behave . . .

And what’s wrong with ‘melons’? I’m eating more and more of them now I’m trying to get healthy.

No, you’re going to have to explain Reservoir Dogs, Dave. Can’t I be a mango instead?

Dave, what a great idea. There are lots of blogs here I look forward to discovering. Thanks for the the link, and the post is great.

Hello all, I’ll be back later, but I just wanted to reiterate that most of the words associated with your blogs were totally random. I wrote the post first then thought it would be a good idea to jam your URL in there. So most have no meaning at all. If I’d been really clever I’d have thought of a relevant link for each of you. I also thought it might be fun to see if any of your search traffic comes from obscure terms. :D BBL

12 Tara@Sticky Fingers 3 February, 2009 at 12:11 pm

Where have my melons gone?
Now I’m bananas! Oh cheers – what are you trying to do to me DF?

Totally random, my eye. All well and good to reiterate that there is no meaning, but I got “ways to annoy me”! Couldn’t you have given that one to Jenny? She’s tough, she can totally take it.

And I have underfloor heating and it’s wonderful. Could’ve given me that one.

I HAVE seen all 7 of those movies and they are all solid pics. If I had to pick one for you to see first, it would be The Godfather. It IS required “man” viewing. Brokeback Mountain probably not. That’s a different kind “man” viewing.

I thought every man had seen Fight Club and thought it was one of the best movies ever.

I don’t remember what I wanted to be when I was 7. I think I wanted to be my Mom because I thought she was awesome.

Oh man … when I first read this I thought they were actual feeds – well, they are actual feeds but now I really get the humor. Very clever Dave :-)

Hmm … eternity ring. I’ll probably start wondering what that means and then give up and figure there is no hidden meaning. Unless…you are even more clever than I already thought you were …

Your blog crashed my Firefox 5 times last night! But it loaded fine for me this morning:)
And I won’t even mention the fact that I’m number SIX on the list of fruits you’d like to eat. Not mentioning it. At all.

I’ll spend the rest of the day clicking through the links! Great way to discover new reads. Thanks!

Ah, films you haven’t seen eh? The Godfather should be on your list of films ‘you will watch asap’…it is a masterpiece, and yes it’s definitely a mans film (but I love it too). Brokeback Mountain is a beautiful film, and I actually enjoyed it better the second time I watched it. Please, give it a go. I won’t tell anyone. I wouldn’t recommend Lock Stock, Fight Club is worth watching (another man’s film I think) and Taxi Driver is a must see if only to hear De Niro deliver the classic lines “You lookin’ at me, you lookin’ at me….” Now get yerself down to Blockbusters and watch the them. Now. Consider yourself admonished young man.

And count your blessings that you’ve never seen Reservoir Dogs. It must be a guy thing, cause that movie scarred me in a way that is unrepairable.

Thanks for the link. :D
